Establishment of the admission calendar for I and II level studies in 2023/2024

Based on subsection 2 (2) of Regulation No 1 of 15 February 2022 of the Senate of Tallinn University of Technology “Requirements for the Admission to the First and Second Level of Studies at Tallinn University of Technology”,

1. I have established the new version of the admission calendar for I and level II studies in 2023/2024 as follows:

Bachelor’s, integrated, professional higher education and master’s studies

Submitting applications and documents
1 March – 1 April submission of applications and other documents required for admission by third-country nationals via admission information system DreamApply for international students
1 February – 1 May submission of applications and other documents required for admission by the citizens of the OECD member states, Ukraine and Georgia and third-country nationals, who have a legal basis for staying in Estonia, via the admission information system DreamApply for international students
1 February – 1 June submission of applications and other documents required for admission by citizens of the EEA and Switzerland via the admission information system DreamApply for international students
1 February – 1 August submission of applications and other documents required for admission by citizens of Finland, Latvia and Lithuania applying for study programmes of the School of Business and Governance taught in English via the admission information system DreamApply for international students
1 March– 4 July at 12.00 (midday) submission of applications by permanent residents of Estonia via the admission information system SAIS
28 June– 4 July at 12.00 (midday) reception of applications and documents in TalTech on site for applicants permanently residing in Estonia
Admission tests
1 March– 26 June at 12.00 (midday) registration for the mathematics and Estonian language admission tests for applicants pursuing I level studies
1 February – 1 August admission tests for international applicants, by agreement with the School
20. – 26 March 1. period of admission tests, registration in the admission information system SAIS
8. – 14 May 2. period of admission tests, registration in the admission information system SAIS
26 June mathematics counselling for applicants who have applied for the admission test by the deadline
27 June admission test in mathematics for applicants who have applied for the admission test by the deadline
28 June admission test in the Estonian language for applicants who have applied for the admission test by the deadline
6. – 10 July 3. period of admission tests, registration in the admission information system SAIS

 

Study places, matriculation, pre-week
1 February – 15 July study places are offered to international applicants who meet the requirements
1 March – 12 August in specialities with threshold-based admission*, study places are offered to permanent residents of Estonia who meet the requirements
13 July deadline for confirming the study place for permanent residents of Estonia
15. – 28 August matriculation of admitted applicants**
18 August deadline for offering study places in the specialities with threshold-based admission to permanent residents of Estonia who meet the requirements
20 August deadline for confirming the study place for international applicants
28 August beginning of the pre-week (incl. lectures introducing TalTech and the academic policies) for students admitted to daytime studies in bachelor’s, integrated and professional higher education programmes

*If the graduation of an educational institution abroad takes place after 4 July 2023, the applicant who submitted the application and the required documents by the deadline and whose application status in the admission information system SAIS is “conditional admission” is offered a study place based on the submitted graduation certificate and the assessment of the ENIC/NARIC centre until 7 August 2023.
**Matriculation of international applicants to study programmes taught in English takes place until the deadline for submission of the semester’s individual study plan, or, based on the dean’s decision, until 15 September, except for the MVGN study programme, where matriculation can take place until 30 September.

Additional admission to the Entrepreneurial Management MBA study programme
21 – 31 August submission of applications and other documents required for admission by citizens of Finland, Latvia and Lithuania via the admission information system DreamApply for international students and by permanent residents of Estonia via the admission information system SAIS
23 August – 4 September the period during which the admission test takes place
4 September deadline for offering study places to applicants who meet the requirements
6 September deadline for confirming the study place
30 September deadline for matriculation of admitted applicants**

2. I repeal “Admission calendar for I and level II studies in 2023/2024” approved by Rector’s directive No 19 of 17 March 2022.

3. The directive shall enter into force upon signature.
