1. Additional conditions for matriculation, rematriculation and switching to another study programme at the School of Business and Governance:
1.1 Business (TABB):
Courses suitable for the Business study programme in the amount of at least 30 ECTS credit points have been completed, including courses belonging to (or compatible with the learning outcomes of) P1 or P2 modules in the amount of 24 ECTS credit points, whereas the weighted grade point average (hereinafter: GPA) of the aforementioned P1 or P2 module study results is at least 4.0. The score of the Estonian language state examination is at least 55 points or the score of the Estonian as a second language state examination is at least 75 points.
1.2 Applied Economics (TAAB):
Courses corresponding to the standard study plan of the first semester of the Applied Economics study programme in the amount of at least 30 ECTS credit points have been completed. The GPA of previous study results is at least 4.0, and the score of the Estonian language state examination is at least 55 points or the score of the Estonian as a second language state examination is at least 75 points.
1.3 Public Administration and Governance (HAAB):
Courses corresponding to the standard study plan of the first semester of the Public Administration and Governance study programme in the amount of at least 30 ECTS credit points have been completed. The GPA of previous study results is at least 4.0, and the score of the Estonian language state examination is at least 55 points or the score of the Estonian as a second language state examination is at least 75 points.
1.4 Public Administration and Innovation (HAAM):
The GPA of previous study results is at least 4.0, and a positive result from an interview with the programme director.
1.5 Finance and Accounting (TARM):
The GPA of previous study results is at least 3.5.
1.6 All other study programmes of the School of Business and Governance:
The GPA of previous study results is at least 3.0.
2. The university may refuse to matriculate, rematriculate or switch to another study programme on the proposal of the dean if the person has financial arrears to the university and/or has violated good academic practice within three years of the date of the application as a student, continuing education student or an external student.
3. Clauses 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3 shall be applied from the spring semester of the 2026/2027 academic year. Until the entry into force of the amendments, no additional admission shall take place to the TABB study programme. Until the entry into force of the amendments, for the TAAB and HAAB study programmes, the requirement for previous study results is a GPA of at least 3.0.
4. Clause 1.5 shall be applied from the autumn semester of the 2027/2028 academic year. Until the entry into force of the amendment, for the TARM study programme, the requirement for previous study results is a GPA of at least 3.0.
5. I declare invalid the Dean’s Order No. 1-24/238 of 25 September 2024 “Additional conditions for matriculation, rematriculation and switching to another study programme at the School of Business and Governance”
