Pursuant to clause 21.4.2 of the Financial Regulations and subsection 9 (5) of the Regulations for Doctoral Studies, I hereby establish the following fees for the evaluation of the application documents and qualifications of doctoral programme applicants:<\/p>\n
1. In public competitions for admission to doctoral studies, the applicant\u2019s documents and qualifications are evaluated by the university.<\/p>\n
2. The service comprises a substantive and administrative evaluation of the applicant\u2019s application documents and prior education and qualifications, including verification of the compliance, authenticity, and validity of the documents, evaluation of foreign qualifications, and assessment of the applicant\u2019s academic suitability involving evaluation of the compliance of the applicant\u2019s prior education and qualifications with the requirements for admission to doctoral studies.<\/p>\n
3. For the provision of the service, the applicant shall pay a one-time fee of EUR 100 (one hundred) euros.<\/p>\n
4. The fee shall be paid no later than the application deadline for doctoral studies, and proof of payment shall be submitted. If the fee is not paid by the deadline, the application shall not be processed.<\/p>\n
5. Applicants who have completed master\u2019s studies at an Estonian higher education institution, as well as applicants who are Estonian citizens, citizens of another Member State of the European Union, or who hold a long-term residence permit or a permanent right of residence in Estonia, shall be exempt from the fee.<\/p>\n
6. The service fee is non-refundable.<\/p>\n
